Spent coffee grounds and household waste are typically thrown away, but the GEQ student project team Shrooms in Rooms has found a way to use this to grow edible mushrooms. The RVRC Year 2 student project team comprising of Sew Wen Xin, Khoo Han Sheng Marcus, Huo Lushuang and Bai Sin Yeou, mentored by RVRC Lecturer Lim Cheng Puay, will be conducting a series of hands-on workshops for NUS staff, jointly organised by the Office of Environmental Sustainability and RVRC.
