The memories made here in RVRC has enriched my freshman experience greatly! From impromptu hotpot sessions with my OG friends, pursuing my interest in dance as a crew member of Dance Revo, grinding study sessions with my fellow same major friends and friends made through RV modules to lunch cooking sessions in the pantry. RVRC is a place that allowed me to experience fun communal living with my friends and also taught me independence while being away from home!

“They say a house is a place, a home a space. I came into this unfamiliar place without anyone or knowing much about RV at all. I was scared but excited for what was to come! Today, I can say that RV has been a haven for me. It is space filled with precious memories all around, ones that I will hold close to my heart forever. I’ve lived, laughed and loved in this space, and invite you to take the leap of faith and join us here - in a space i’m proud to call my second home!”

"RVRC is a nurturing environment for growth; besides being my second home for four years, it has also allowed me to venture into many leadership roles and embark on several passion projects. From regaining my pandemic-hit confidence as a House Head, to leading and being part of RVRC's Peer Student Supporters, as well as initiating the first Raya With Ridge in 2023 - these are just a few of the significant university milestones that I'll cherish fondly. If you seek skill development or wish to pursue your passions, RVRC is your place! The world is your oyster here, with unwavering support from everyone 🙂"

RVRC offers an immersive, community-based university experience where specially curated academic learning and campus life blend seamlessly. Students live in a supportive, close-knit environment and learn experientially about real sustainability and community challenges. It’s a dynamic space to grow, contribute, and thrive.

RVN2001 Project: Rewilding Yishun Park

As part of our RVN2001: The Great Extinction: conservation and rewilding course’s final project, we proposed a rewilding plan for an under-utilised site in Yishun Park. We determined that the site – a small, sheltered area at the fringe of Yishun Park’s forest with spaced-out trees but no undergrowth – could be rewilded to extend the forest fringe outwards as a forest buffer zone. We decided on the strategy of deliberate rewilding: planting trees and shrubs, due to its shorter implementation timeframe.

RVN2000 Project: No Box No Go

Our inspiration for eliminating waste packaging in RVRC came during the rubbish sorting activity for our RVN2000 field trip. As we sorted the rubbish produced by RV residents into different categories such as food waste, e-waste, and plastic waste, we noticed that the Grab-and-Go stall in the Dining Hall was producing an excessive amount of single-use disposables.
