"My time at RVRC has been transformative. The unique yet rigorous academic structure at the college focusing on experiential learning, has made my educational journey both enjoyable and enriching, especially through collaborative projects which allow me to connect with my community. By delving into diverse subjects outside my academic majors, I have gained a more nuanced understanding of the world. Outside the classroom, representing the college in Tchoukball during the NUS Inter-College Games has built invaluable friendships. RVRC has become a second home for me - a supportive and enriching community that complements my academic and holistic pursuits, one where I know I belong."

"My time at RVRC has been incredibly enriching. Navigating different roles such as being part of the Panthera House Committee, participating in RVRC's Inter-House Games and NUS' Inter-College Games, and working for the RVRC Social Media team has allowed me to expand my photography skills and my passion for it whilst making meaningful connections and exploring new interests. My favourite course is RVN2001 The Great Extinction: Rewilding and Conservation, which allowed me to document and identify animal species, deepening my understanding of biodiversity preservation. Collectively, this experience is unique to RVRC and includes activities I never saw myself doing before I joined the college!"

"If I had to describe my RVRC experience in one word, it would be fulfilling. From the wonderful experiences I have had and the amazing people I have met, I look back on my two years with teary eyes and a filled heart. When I started University, I was uncertain about staying in RVRC. I came from an International School and feared I would not fit in. However, I am so glad to say I was wrong. RVRC allowed me to engage with multiple Interest groups and take up several leadership opportunities, which shaped me to be more confident in myself and my abilities. Additionally, these honed skills transcended into my academic and professional life. I will not be leaving the college as the person who entered the brick-walled building, but as someone ready to take on the world!"

“The memories made here in RVRC has enriched my freshman experience greatly! From impromptu hotpot sessions with my OG friends, pursuing my interest in dance as a crew member of Dance Revo, grinding study sessions with my fellow same major friends and friends made through RV modules to lunch cooking sessions in the pantry. RVRC is a place that allowed me to experience fun communal living with my friends and also taught me independence while being away from home!”

“They say a house is a place, a home a space. I came into this unfamiliar place without anyone or knowing much about RV at all. I was scared but excited for what was to come! Today, I can say that RV has been a haven for me. It is space filled with precious memories all around, ones that I will hold close to my heart forever. I’ve lived, laughed and loved in this space, and invite you to take the leap of faith and join us here - in a space i’m proud to call my second home!”

"RVRC is a nurturing environment for growth; besides being my second home for four years, it has also allowed me to venture into many leadership roles and embark on several passion projects. From regaining my pandemic-hit confidence as a House Head, to leading and being part of RVRC's Peer Student Supporters, as well as initiating the first Raya With Ridge in 2023 - these are just a few of the significant university milestones that I'll cherish fondly. If you seek skill development or wish to pursue your passions, RVRC is your place! The world is your oyster here, with unwavering support from everyone 🙂"

“RVRC has undoubtedly shaped my first two years of university. From the many memories I’ve made to the greater appreciation I have for nature, I am grateful for RVRC. Not to mention RVRC’s prime, central location that I have grown to take for granted. Looking back on the late-night talks, movies at the lounge, starting a yoga interest group, and leading the house committee with my best friends— these memories will last a lifetime. RVRC is a place that has watched me grow and will forever be dear to my heart!”

“RVRC has been such an important part of my time in university, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else! The people who started off as my neighbours are now lifelong friends that I laugh with every day. I am also very grateful to have a safe space to try new things, especially in my interest groups: Dance ReVo and Jukebox! The spontaneous dance practices, concert preparation and jamming sessions are probably one of the best highlights of my RVRC experience. RVRC is a second home to me and I’m proud to call it my home :)”

“Can’t believe its already been 2 years since coming to RVRC! RV has been a place of boundless platforms to try out new activities, or even start your own range of activities. Do use this chance to seize all the opportunities available and experience campus living to the best of what you want it to be. Before you know it, it’ll be your turn to graduate from RVRC as well. Don’t count the days, make the days count!”

“My RVRC experience has been a very fulfilling one. I made many good friends who became like family. I love how people go out of their way to help each other out, even the little things like borrowing a charger or helping to kill an insect. The countless suppers I have had with my friends and block mates also make up a very big part of my RVRC experience. I’ve also made many good memories in Dance ReVo, dancing and bonding with people who shared the same interest.”
