RVRC Dialogues and Industry Visits - URA
RVRC organized an industry visit to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on 27 October as part of its yearlong DIV series for Year One students. The visit began with a short corporate presentation showcasing the diverse work done by URA in Singapore, followed by an explanation of the various departments and the wide variety of urban design interventions undertaken by the institution.
RVRC students also had the opportunity to explore the multi-media and interactive City Gallery resources at URA while discussing potential internship opportunities with the URA Community Outreach Officer, Chelsea Zheng. Their engaging discussion was peppered with several insightful questions from RVRC students curious to know more about various aspects of URA's operations and commitment to sustainability. Students found the learning galleries and temporary exhibits informative.
