College Student Committee (CSC)
The College Student Committee (CSC) is an elected body of students that fulfils three main purposes. The first purpose is to represent students. The CSC raises student matters of concern and suggestions for improvement, and the college regularly consults with CSC for a student perspective and input on matters in the college.
The CSC coordinates with the house heads and our interest groups to create a coordinated and holistic residential college experience. They also work closely with, and are mentored by, the Director of Student Life and the College Master. Another purpose is to unite RVRC by organising events that bring the entire college community together.
Finally, the CSC represents the student body when interacting with other halls and residential colleges. These interactions are especially important when coordinating large scale events that bring multiple institutions together, like inter-college Halloween celebrations in semester 1 and inter-college games (ICG) in semester 2. While many students serve in key CSC leadership positions, many others join CSC subcommittees to help us make RVRC special.
