RVRC continues its commitment to enhance awareness and support meaningful action on sustainability issues in the year of Climate Action. The opening session for this workshop was held at the Friendship Lounge @ The Red Box, with more than 35 youth in attendance. The Energy Studies Institute (NUS), RVRC and OES (NUS), along with the National Youth Council have partnered to conduct this 6-week workshop that serves to enrich the knowledge of participants in Climate Change Negotiations and to provide a platform for potential youth collaboration beyond the workshop. The final session will be held at RVRC on 17 September to showcase actionable proposals. Through participation in this workshop, led by Melissa Low from ESI, students will learn more about Singapore’s active role in the UNFCCC, get a special insiders’ view into the negotiation process, and the complex political issues shaping international policies on Climate Change at the COP.
RVRC Year Two students who complete the workshop will fulfil their Resilience Pillar requirement for the Year Two Programme.
