RVRC students' projects from the module GEQ1917 have won several key awards at the Sembcorp Marine’s Green Wave Environmental Competition 2019. “Sustainable Packet Drinks” was awarded the 1st Prize Award of $10,000.

Ms Nabilah Bte Bahrim from the team also won the Good Presenter Award of $200. This top prize award is co-sponsored by Shell International Eastern Trading Company and comes with a minimum one-month development attachment to Shell or its affiliates for one team member.

“Closing the Loop: Repurposing durian shells for insulated cup holders' was awarded the 2nd Prize Award of $6,000.  "TASTY Game" won the Merit Award of $1,000 and Ms Rheia Tay from their team also won the Good Presenter Award of $200.
