At RVRC, Interest Groups (IGs) offer a welcoming platform for students to explore new activities and deepen existing passions. The college hosts a wide range of IGs spanning sports, arts, community service, and more. We encourage all students to join, whether to pursue an existing passion, discover something new, or connect with like-minded peers.
Your curiosity and enthusiasm are what matter. Beginners are always welcome! You can also step up to lead the groups as interest group student leaders.

Artelier
If you love art, Artelier is the place for you! We believe in making art accessible for everyone. In addition to the occasional workshops, we conduct weekly sessions (instructional and art jams) suitable for any skill level.
Bollyview
Bollyview is an inclusive interest group where people of all backgrounds and skill levels can experience South Asian Culture and festivities through the lens of cinema, art and lots of food! Regardless of your familiarity with South Asian culture, Bollyview offers you the chance to watch films, celebrate major festivals, and unleash your creative side.
Contract Bridge
We teach and organize sessions for Contract Bridge, a simple-to-learn but hard-to-master card game! Regardless of whether you want to unwind and relax or if you're looking for a new game to challenge the limits of your mind, our interest group has a place for everyone here.
Dance ReVo
Dance ReVo explores a variety of genres, including girls’ style, contemporary, hip hop, and street jazz. Our Tuesday open classes are mainly led by our members, and occasionally external instructors. As our focus is on community and enjoyment, beginners are always welcome to discover their groove with ReVo! Otherwise, catch us at Concert by the Ridge in Semester 2!
RV Jukebox
Passionate about music? RV Jukebox is the place where you can learn and jam to songs with like-minded peers. With our mashup of music workshops and consistent practice sessions, you will scale up your musicianship and maybe even sharpen your skills on a new instrument! Look forward to showcasing your hard work and talents on various platforms!
RidgeCue
RidgeCue is RVRC's Cuesports interest group dedicated to bringing together residents with a shared passion for 8-ball and 9-ball pool. Our interest group offers a friendly space where residents can learn techniques and unwind over weekly pool sessions. Furthermore, we have experienced players ready to teach beginners – come join us for a game!
Ridge View Christian Fellowship
Ridge View Christian Fellowship (RVCF) is a Christian group within RVRC that comes together to study the Bible, learn more about our faith, worship God, and fellowship with one another. We hope to foster a strong, authentic community for Christians to connect and support one another in university and provide a dedicated time for studying the Bible.
RVRCoffee Club
RVRCoffee Club offers a cosy space for friends to gather and enjoy their caffeine fix. We serve a variety of coffees and teas, and host events such as coffee workshops to learn more about coffee brewing. We desire a relaxing environment where students can unwind, connect, and share meaningful moments accompanied by a delicious cup of coffee
RVRC Chess Society
The RVRC Chess Society promotes and fosters a love for Chess and Chinese chess. We provide a platform for beginners and experienced players to engage in friendly competitions, practice sessions, and special events (including fun variants!). Through weekly meetings, we aim to strengthen friendships and cultivate a deep appreciation for the intellectual challenges and strategic beauty of Chess/Chinese chess.

RV Café is dedicated to food! We provide a comfortable environment for our members to share recipes, skills, and food with one another. We hold small-scale cooking/baking classes for those who are interested. We also organise or support College events with food, such as ondeh ondeh cupcakes, and collaborate with other interest groups such RVRCoffee Club!

RV Climate Café (RVCC) sparks and fosters important conversations about environmental issues within the RVRC community and beyond. Through dialogues with industry practitioners and hands-on interactive workshops, RVCC enables RVRC residents to build community and find ways to channel your climate-anxiety into meaningful action.
RV Explorers
RV Explorers gathers residents who love walking, trekking, and exploring paths less trodden. We visit places with rich natural and cultural heritage such as Southern Ridges, Nature Parks, and the Southern Islands. This is an interest group for anyone who loves the outdoors, whether you are a first-time nature walker, an experienced trekker, or simply love to explore!
RV FIFA
RV FIFA provides a light-hearted and inclusive space for residents to enjoy some casual FIFA and other PS4 games. We welcome players of all skill levels and provide players with opportunities to compete in events such as Inter College Games. We aim to provide a space for all residents to bond and relax amid the intensity of university life!
RV FoRestore
RV FoRestore raises awareness and appreciation for Singapore’s forests to the public through hands-on reforestation efforts and habitat enhancement activities, including those at Chestnut and Thomson Nature Park. Our events include plot maintenance, seedling salvage, tree planting, tree monitoring and the annual Forest Restoration Workshop. We also have a nursery in RVRC to grow seedlings of pioneer tree species!
RVRC Green Rangers
RVRC Green Rangers is for anybody curious about biodiversity and the natural world. We connect you to nature through nature walks and education of our natural heritage. We bring you closer to our hidden yet rich biodiversity, even in a rapidly urbanised Singapore. Join us to learn with us about our green spaces and immerse yourselves in nature!
RV Photography
Love snapping pics and capturing memories? RV Photography welcomes all residents to see the world from new angles – through photo walks around Singapore, fun activities, and a whole lot of creative energy. Our vision is to build a supportive space where like-minded individuals can connect, grow, and fall in love with the art of photography.
RV Sustainability Consulting Club
RV Sustainability Consulting bridges students passionate about sustainability with projects helping non-profits, social enterprises, and startups to expand their sustainable impact. Members have to undergo a selection process to join projects, but trainings and alumni sharings are open to all!
Sports Interest Groups
RV Badminton
RV Badminton provides a vibrant and inclusive space for advanced and recreational players to stay active and improve their badminton skills. We build camaraderie through our regular sessions and provide opportunities for competitive participation such as the Inter-College Games. We also organise friendly matches with other Residential Colleges and Halls to foster inter-Residential College/Hall bonding.
RV Basketball
RV Basketball welcomes anyone and everyone to join us, regardless of your amount of experience. Come down and join us if you want to relieve some stress, pick up some basketball skills, or just want to have fun. We have men’s and women’s teams, and we train at the outdoor basketball courts next to University Sports Complex.
RV Bouldering
RV Bouldering is a fun community of climbers who gather weekly to climb in NUS and at external gyms. Residents with all skill levels are welcomed to explore new routes, build skills, and share good vibes. We also connect with climbing enthusiasts from other Residential Colleges. We aim to spread the love and joy for bouldering. Allez!
RV Captain’s Ball
RV Captain's Ball combines elements of basketball and netball, providing a fun and competitive environment for players. We seek to create a vibrant and inclusive community of students who are passionate about Captain's Ball, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness. The rules are easy to pick up, so we welcome you to join regardless of level of experience!
RV Dodgeball
RV Dodgeball is a team-based, non-contact sport where players aim to eliminate the opposing team by either throwing or catching them out. A sport with a low barrier to entry but a high skill ceiling, everyone is bound to find something for themselves on the court. Come join us for an adrenaline pumping game during our sessions!

RV Floorball welcomes everyone, whether you are picking up a floorball stick for the first time or a seasoned player. Come bond with your friends and to learn this game at your own pace at our sessions. Just show up with covered shoes and a willingness to learn, as we can provide equipment to our members!
RV Football
RV Football plays football whenever we want as RVRC is located close to the field and outdoor courts, but we also have regular weekly sessions that are open to all skill levels. Both male and female teams train, play friendly matches, and bond through shared interest in the sport. We probably will win Inter-College Games next year!

Running, much like our academic journeys, is filled with ups and downs — moments when we feel like giving up and exhilarating times when we finally conquer that (PGP) hill. RV Swimming brings together students who share a passion for swimming, whether for leisure, fitness, or skill improvement. We foster an inclusive and supportive community where members can train together, pick up new techniques, and stay active through regular swimming sessions. Did you know that Squash is the healthiest sport in the world? Come join us! No experience? No worries! Our friendly seniors are here to guide you, and you can start playing with your friends. RV Squash Sessions are held at University Sports Complex’s Squash Courts.
RV Table Tennis
RV Table Tennis serves to bring together people who are interested in the sport. Through peer tutoring and constant practise, students who are interested to play table tennis can pick up the skill and techniques from other more experienced players. It is also a platform to keep fit and bond together – come play with us!
RV Tchoukball
Looking for a close-knit community, or simply a sport to destress? RV Tchoukball may be for you! Combining various elements of several ball sports, tchoukball is a fast-paced and unique game of 'threes' (three steps, three passes, three seconds). Join us for beginner-friendly sessions and games.
