RVRC CIP-Project Home Haven Community Service

Students and staff from RVRC participated in the day-long Project Home Haven Community Service along with Mdm. Rahayu Mahzam, MP for Bukit Batok East. This event was organised by RVRC in joint collaboration with People's Association Youth Movement, Bukit Batok East Community Club Management Committee and the Health Promotion Board on 07 April 2018. 84 student volunteers from RVRC joined staff to assist underprivileged households through home renovation and cleaning activities. They also assisted to pack and distribute healthy food necessities to 50 households in the area.

The activity provided an opportunity for students to integrate meaningful community service with interaction with the residents. Several students received small snacks and sweets as tokens of appreciation from residents, in addition to big warm smiles!
