Another fulfilling NUS Day of Service at Chestnut Nature Park! On 1st September Saturday morning, about 40 members of the public joined 28 RVRC and other NUS friends to plant 101 trees. The RVRC family bonded over the hard work - the soil was thin and the changkul often struck big rocks that were abandoned from previous human use. We planted several legume trees, in hope that these would improve soil conditions over time. One more step towards restoring our forests!
