NUS 120th Anniversary Charity Golf by RVRC

Inaugural Ridge View Residential College Charity Golf and Dinner raises more than S$550,000 for its bursary endowment fund
Ridge View Residential College (RVRC) marked a significant milestone on 15 October 2025 with its inaugural Charity Golf and Dinner event, organized jointly with the NUS Alumni Student Advancement Committee (ASAC) and held in conjunction with NUS’ 120th anniversary celebrations. In so doing, it became the first NUS Residential College to organise a fundraising event of this nature in support of its newly launched bursary endowment fund.

The event, which saw 36 flights teeing off at the challenging Classic Course of Laguna National Golf Resort Club, brought together golf enthusiasts for a friendly competition while raising funds for students in need. When the swinging was done and the sun set, 200 guests gathered for an evening of celebration, camaraderie, and shared purpose over dinner.

Thanks to the generosity of NUS alumni, corporate partners, staff, former and current students, as well as friends of the College, the event raised a total of S$550,446 for RVRC’s bursary endowment fund, which includes 8 sub-named bursaries and will ensure that financial challenges will not hinder deserving students from access to RVRC’s living-and-learning experience and the broader opportunities available at NUS.
