Building a sustainable future requires a collective commitment to recognizing the achievements of the next generation and empowering them to pursue their aspirations.
This year marked a meaningful milestone for Ridge View Residential College as we celebrated our scholarship recipients alongside, for the first time, our bursary recipients at the RVRC Scholarship and Bursary Award Ceremony 2026.
In his address, RVRC College Master A/P Sim Tick Ngee reflected on the idea of freedom as a shared significance of scholarships and bursaries. While scholarships recognize students' academic achievements, dedication, leadership, and contributions to the college community, bursaries provide a different kind of freedom: greater freedom to pursue their academic journey with reduced financial pressures. Together, these awards reflect RVRC's commitment to recognizing achievement while ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds have the support and opportunities to explore their potential and pursue their aspirations.
The ceremony also highlighted the importance of collective efforts in supporting the next generation. Through the generosity of our donors and the dedication of the RVRC community, these awards represent a shared investment in students' educational journeys and future opportunities. We extend our sincere appreciation to all who have contributed to fostering an inclusive and supportive college environment where students can thrive.
Congratulations to all our scholarship and bursary recipients! May these awards encourage you to continue learning, growing, and making meaningful contributions to the communities around you.
