Welcome to Ridge View Residential College, the residential college in the heart of NUS.

The RVRC slogan is Nature, Nurture, Adventure – it is a slogan that nicely captures where we are located, what we seek to do, and how we do what we seek to do.

As can be seen in our photos and videos, RVRC is a beautiful residential college. We have the Kent Ridge forest behind us, and our set-up of low- and high-rise buildings surrounded by green and often luscious spaces gives a rustic “kampung” feel and a warm welcoming vibe to the College. We are indeed a College in Nature.

Aligned with our natural surroundings, we offer growth opportunities to students who join us. The RVRC Program, alongside a vibrant student life and a supportive residential life, aims to nurture all who are part of the RVRC community. Our aim is simple – growth in each and every of our students so that they are “better versions” of themselves (in whichever way that is important to them) after their time with us.

The College has a strong emphasis on outdoor and experiential learning. Our students can thus expect adventure. Whether it is part of coursework (in the form of field trips, including overseas ones) or through Kayak & Clean events (where students kayak along Singapore’s waterways and pick up marine trash while learning about sustainability aspects of those waterways) or through Walk for Rice efforts (where we clock walking mileage which is then exchanged for food staples for the less privileged in the larger community), we are out there because the world is our classroom.

RVRC turned 10 in 2024, and we are now embarking on an exciting second decade of the College. There is so much to look forward to, and I invite you to join us on this journey.
