The 4th RVRC Annual College Symposium and networking session 'Action for Sustainability'

The 4th RVRC Annual College Symposium and networking session 'Action for Sustainability' showcased 57 posters and 5 inspiring project presentations by RVRC year one students for the module GEQ1917 Understanding and Critiquing Sustainability. RVRC welcomed Professor Leo Tan as keynote speaker for the event, and his address- Whither the Red Dot? Does Sustainability Matter? was an insightful take on how NUS should further efforts towards environmental, economic and social sustainability in Singapore. Three breakout sessions by industry partners - Sodexo, PM Haze and SYCA provided a unique networking and learning opportunity for invited industry experts, academics from NUS and other tertiary organisations and RVRC students.

 

The symposium also showcased the culmination of the RVRC Year One Programme with its integrated curriculum of three modules on Sustainability, Workplace Readiness and Professional & Academic Communication.
