On 19th September, RVRC hosted Mr. Steven Chia, editor/presenter at Channel NewsAsia (CNA). Mr Chia is well known for CNA's highest rated show AM LIVE!. He currently hosts CNA's show on Singapore's hottest issues, Talking Point. Being in the media industry for over 20 years, Mr Chia was able to shed light on the industry to residents in RVRC and also give them an insider look on what goes on behind the scenes. Mr Chia's talk revolved around current issues as well as the prevalence of 'fake news' in today's media. He answered multiple questions from residents regarding the media industry, drawing from his wealth of experience and personal stories, and kept the dialogue interactive and audience captivated throughout the discussion.
