Lead by Dr. Chua Siew Chin, RVRC conducted a Forest Restoration Workshop last Saturday for 28 teachers and students from various schools. Despite the drizzling weather, everyone came with lots of enthusiasm to see how they can play a part to restore our native forests. Dr. Adrian Loo, Nparks Group Director of Conservation Division gave a welcome address. 19 RVRC students showcased the activities from the RV Forest Restoration Group and the Year 2 Forum Action for Forest. This is followed by a focused group discussion on how schools could collaborate and share expertise. The workshop had an amazing response from many new and old faces.
