Nunis - RVRC Website

Ms. Verdayne read biochemistry as an undergraduate at NUS. However, after graduating she switched paths to work with many different tech companies in Singapore, including the National Science & Technology Board and Apple. She started her own consultancy firm before moving to Microsoft in 2008 and has been the Chief of Staff for Microsoft Asia for 5 years.

During her dialogue with RVRC Year One students, Ms. Verdayne shared her journey from her undergraduate years to her current role. She identified ten ideas that she believes are crucial to succeeding in the working world and emphasised that students must never stop learning. She listed several external courses that she read, while working full-time, as an example. Ms. Verdayne ended the session by with the importance of maintaining a good work-life balance by sharing her own experiences in balancing parenthood, physical and mental health, and a demanding career.

The dialogue was hosted by RVRC Senior Anson Wong (Yr. 3)
