In collaboration with the National Parks Board, Dr. Chua and students from RV FoRestore held the annual Forest Restoration Workshop online. Topics shared included Singapore’s Forest Restoration Action Plan, lessons learnt from monitoring plots at Chestnut Nature Park, and the use of aerial photographs to trace past land use impact on forest recovery. The workshop was well received and marks the beginning of on-the-ground engagement with the local community for forest restoration!
