On 22nd and 23rd August, RVRC held a formal dinner to welcome all new and current residents back to their home away from home! The theme for this AY's Welcome Dinner was "Secret Agent", and residents were dressed to the nines. The dining hall was beautifully decorated with cardboard cut outs of secret agents, and big, pink letter-shaped balloons writing "RVRC".

The first post-covid welcome dinner kickstarted with a speech made by Master Greg, followed by the serving of the 3-course meal! Residents were served with Mushroom soup, a vegetarian, fish, or chicken main course, and red velvet cake for dessert! During the meal organises run a kahoot! quiz that tested residents on their knowledge of spy movies. To further engage all attendance throughout the entire event, residents were given clue cards to guess the title of songs, and the winning table walked away with a box of exquisite chocolates. To commemorate the special night, there were also two photobooths with a variety of props set up for residents to take photos with their friends.

The organising team did a wonderful job planning this special event, and everyone had a truly special night to be remembered!
