halloween

This year, The RVRC Halloween celebrations took a special twist, as all Residential Colleges (RCs) collaborated to organise the Inter-RC Horror Night 2022 with the theme of “Fairytales Gone Wrong”. Each RC had chosen a fairytale and RVRC’s was “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”. Participants needed to figure out the mysterious identity of the killer of Snow White. RVRC residents visited a haunted house, photo booth, and different game booths prepared by each house within RVRC. To top it, RVRC residents could even do face painting! Polaroid printing service was provided as well, allowing residents to capture their special costumes or amusing moments.

Many participants, including several Residential Fellows, had fun dressing up this year for trick-or-treating. Most of the costumes were very creative, since several residents designed their outfits from scratch. Prizes were given to the three winners of the costume competition. Yet, the halloween celebrations went beyond the event organised by the RVRC College Student Committee, but also involved celebrating with other RCs on campus. Residents from RVRC could visit multiple haunted houses while meeting new people from other RCs during this Inter-RC Horror Night 2022. A set of five exclusive RC charms were given to participants who visited at least three haunted houses out of a total of five across the different RCs.

The winners of The RVRC Costume Competition 2022 are:
